after struggling with horrible rosacea for 5 years, I decided to go
off of my birth control pills(alesse) because I was having surgery.
After my surgery I decided to go back on my BCP's and realized that
they make my rosacea much worse. I've been almost clear of bumps and
redness, except for when I am premenstrual. I can't believe my
dermotologist never made the connection, nor have I read much about
BCP's making rosacea worse. Today the only cream I use is Elidel,
which I use for dry patches around my chin area. I think this,
non-steroidal cream, helps with rosacea symptoms also.
