I've found anything 100% of the RDA or below is fine for me. It's when it
goes above that limit... 250 - 500% etc. that it starts making me flush.
But this is another where our thresholds are all different only way to know
for sure is to test. As niacin is a water soluable vitamin, you don't need
to worry about cumulative effects over a week or a month or anything. The
one good thing about niacin is that it tends to be a pretty immediate
response... you'll definitely see (in the mirror) if you've had too much
fairly shortly after consumption.

Subject: [rosacea] Niacin limit?
Hey folks,
I know we're supposed to avoid foods with Niacin in, but there is
quite a lot of different foods out there that contain this stuff, and
I just bought a few Atkins Advantage bars to bring to work with me, as
I don't have the time nor the energy to make something to bring each
day. These bars are very low in carbs (1 g sugar), which are very slow
to begin with, so you'll (hopefully) feel full for a longer period of
time.
Now, when looking at the Nutrition Facts I see that these 60 g bars
also contain 15% Niacin. Is that considered to be too much or is it
"safe"?
Anyone?
Thanks...
