Re: [rosacea] Red (or Yellow?) LED Therapy

elena, I always make my own dressing at home, I dont take a chance after reacting to one greek dressing. It made me terribly red, so never again! tamara

I usually always have an organic wine free of them but that day it was a regular store bought one but it's not like I have never had that before. I can't say if I have a problem with fermented things or not. It must be a subtitle thing to find out. I think cheese is no problem for me. I have always eaten it and when I am sticking to the Rosacea Diet it's practically my life and I always do better on that diet so I'd guess cheese is okay. But by the same token I sometimes do flare with vinegar. Usually straight vinegar but sometimes bottled dressings too. The heck of it is it's not consistant. And soy sauce is like that for me too. One time recently I reacted big time soy sauce. Made my own stir fry thinking I can get my chinese food in that way with me knowing what's in it and all..........and I knew IMME DIATELY it was the soy sauce! But it's never happened
before. It's so bizarre, isn't
it? Thanks for the info.

Take care,
Elena

The actual alcohol makes some people flush, but for me it's not the
alcohol, it's the yeast or sulphites or whatever else is in it as it's
fermented or aged or what have you. Rum and tequila drinks are no
problem at all for me. They are made differently than something like
vodka or gin, and that difference is the culprit for me. I can also
drink certain white wines, but most other types of alcohol bring on a
flush.
