Re: [rosacea] Rosacea Therapy

i just had an aura laser tx yesterday.....she zapped a few veins and did the paint of my entire face...i look normal today except for the few dots where she zapped.; they don't look any worse than a rosacea blister tho...hahaha.
it was bright and sunny over here today so i layered on quite a thick coat of sunscreen and wore a hat for protection.
even after washing that off, my face still looks ok.
i'm so happy it went nicly.
i recommend the lasr, i've had several. one other thing.....it reallllllly helps to clean up nose pores, seems to shrink them......which it will do to the pores in general i have found. It helps with texture so much.
goodluck. emily

Subject: [rosacea] Rosacea Therapy

I have had rosacea for about 21 years. Have not received active
treatment for the last 5-6 due to decreased symptoms. My problem now
are collections of spider veins on chin, nose, cheeks. I have
researched light therapy, but mentioned it to my dermatologist and she
recommends laser. She said the intense pulse therapy will not get rid
of spider veins and that laser is the only way. I'm wondering if that
is because she does the laser in her office and not the light therapy.
I would be interested in hearing from others concerning this.
Thanks,
Debbie
