I have been using my IPL technician for three years now so she knows me pretty well. Sometimes she takes off the goggles and asks me to pull up on my eyelids. This gets them away from my eyes so that she can work on that area. I think your technician would want to know exactly how you react to the treatments (no flinching or moving about) before she would want to take any chances. It really can be dangerous unless you and your technician feel really confident.
