flaking skin in the T zone sounds like sebderm in which I have. See
a doctor and get a prescription for topical antifungals, I have been
using ciclopiroxolamine for two years now. It doesnt work too bad
but it is a bit harsh on skin. Im going to go back and get a
prescription for lamisil in which my mother in law uses on the sides
of her nose. I also spot apply with a steroid cream maybe once or
twice everytime I get a flare. I never use the steroid cream more
than 4 times a month because it thins the skin. Too bad because it
works like magic.

red spots zapped from my face. He told me then that I had a mild
case of Rosacea. This flaking is a new thing and it has worsened.
I will check out Seb. Dermatitis and see what it says. Thanks.

also have seb. dermatitis too. Did the dermatologist mention this to
you and that sometimes it goes hand in hand with rosacea? You might
want to ask him about it.

old. I don't get many of those tiny little pimples, mostly redness
and terrible dry scales on my skin. The T area of my face, forehead
and upper nose area. It isn't on my cheeks at all.....yet anyway. It
also itches. I thought I would get rid of the scales so used the Oil
of Olay derma stuff to slough off the scales. It backfired on me and
my forehead is awful. I can actually take a soft brush and make the
flakes fly like snow! In my eyebrows too. It's scary to look in the
magnified mirror!

know it helps poison oak on some people. I am so dry already though
so I'm not sure. I do use some cleanser and calming moisturizer
Eu.....something but I don't see any benefit from it. It doesn't
calm a thing.

something for the flakes and itching.
