I have a little bit of an understanding of what you go through. My closest
friend was attacked in Japan 6 years ago(horrible story) and one of her
injuries was/is to her right frontal lobe. I don¹t know how you guys do it.
She has a good sense of humour as well. She had to spend weeks in rehab in
Bakersfield where she saw horrible, horrible injuries and when she gets down
now, she says she just remembers the people in Bakersfield and how lucky she
is to be alive. I¹m in awe of you guys.

BIG hug...
Karen

Makes sense. I did take tetracycline as a teenager for some pimples -- not
all that bad as I look back on it (or compare to my skin these days). I
don't know if I can handle any of the oral antibiotics long term. I've
started with tetracycline upon diagnosis and switched over to minocycline
because of stomach issues. Still had trouble and after stopping that, my
stomach is MUCH better. I haven't figured out all of my triggers. I know
stress is a biggie and, because of frontal lobe brain damage from the tumor,
I feel emotions much stronger and have difficulty controlling them. What is
mildy irritating or sad to another person will have me flying off the handle
or crying uncontrollably (and wishing I had that tumor back again because I
felt NO emotions back then and feeling is sometimes too hard). I try to use
humor to diffuse the really heavy emotions and it does help some.
Unfortunately I haven't found a way to cope with emotionally hurtful
situations. Thank God
for Prozac or I'd be living under my bed.
